We’re a small, family-run business based in Beckenham, Kent, passionate about helping dogs lead healthier, happier lives with natural treats and products.

Katie founded The Pooch Shed in March 2022, inspired by years of dog ownership and a strong commitment to canine nutrition and well-being. Frustrated by the abundance of mass-produced treats that can harm a dog’s health, she set out to create a better alternative.

 

Our mission is simple: to help dogs transition to natural treats, food and products that support better digestion, shinier coats, and improved energy—leading to a longer, healthier life.

Choosing the right treat for your dog is important, and Katie is always happy to offer personalised advice. After all, every dog is unique, and what works for one may not be ideal for another!

When she’s not helping dogs thrive, Katie enjoys exploring the local countryside with her Sprocker Spaniel, affectionately known as The Chief Taster, and his furry friends—often knee-deep in mud!
